Online Detection System of the Ash Content

     System Introduction
  The system is consisted of the ash content sensor, ration sensor and moisture sensor. It can accurately measure the accurate ash content in the paper. The ash content sensor is consisted of an X radiation source, a shutter and detector.
  The measurement source component is consisted of a ray tube with dedicatedly designed stable circuit and high flow capacity, a stable high voltage power and ray tube current control panel. The X radiation source component with high flow capacity ensures the accuracy and rapidity of the measurement.
  The detector is consisted of an ion chamber full of krypton which is inert gas and appropriate calibration device. The special integrated geometric structure of the measurement source and detector eliminates its sensitivity to the paper vibration.
  The characteristics of first absorbing the X ray is the key factor of the measurement accuracy of the ash content sensor. For the X ray with fixed energy, different substances have different absorption characteristics (For example, the ash content has higher absorption capacity than the fiber).
  A proportion of X rays emitted by the measurement source component will be absorbed by the ash content in the paper and the rest which are not absorbed pass through the paper and form the current signal in the ion chamber of the detector. This current signal is in direct proportional to the X ray entering the ion chamber.
  After the compensation of the ration, curve temperature, moisture and other dynamic variables, this signal finally converts into the measured ash content value.
  Technical Indexes:
  Repeatability: (2 standard deviations): 0.5% of the absolute ash content reading;
   Accuracy (2 standard deviations): 0.5% of the absolute ash content reading;
  Measurement range: 0~35% and maximum of 450GSM.
  Measurement response speed: less than 10 millisecond;
  Maximum environment temperature: 82℃
